I haven't posted anything about it because it was pretty uneventful, and that was good in its own way.Dirty Runninghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11941067370886942981noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4376658065276829001.post-5641102736074766692013-04-01T11:58:28.608-07:002013-04-01T11:58:28.608-07:00Thanks for the comment, and I agree with you. I think it's because running, exhausting yourself, connecting with nature, and allowing your mind to just wander, breaks down the little rational walls we build in our minds, in order to function, and lets those tough emotions bubble up to the surface. I feel safer confronting difficult emotions out on a trail or road somewhere, and I always feel a sense of accomplishment and contentment afterwards, not because I finished a run but because running helps me grow as a person.

As always, I love reading your blog Dax!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05891267304925353492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4376658065276829001.post-11030872107151170312013-03-16T13:59:00.420-07:002013-03-16T13:59:00.420-07:00I think running helps alot of us to clear our mind...I think running helps alot of us to clear our minds and come to peace with life's challenges.
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03470169043998812328noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4376658065276829001.post-60855599413843452972013-03-16T09:51:34.208-07:002013-03-16T09:51:34.208-07:00I was very touched by this post -- and that you co...I was very touched by this post -- and that you could relate to what I wrote recently about my dad's passing.
